Kimberly Brooks from New Hyde Park was among the 1,458 students who earned dean’s List honors for the fall 2011 semester at SUNY Oneonta. To qualify for the dean’s List, undergraduate students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 semester hours or more.

Alyssa Cherson of New Hyde Park was recently named to the President’s List at The State University of New York at Potsdam for the 2011 fall semester. Cherson, whose major is Music Performance, was among more than 900 students who were honored for academic excellence. To achieve the honor of being on the college president’s list, each student must have satisfactorily completed 12 numerically graded semester hours with a minimum grade point average of 3.5.

Corrina DaSilva of Garden City Park has been placed on the Gettysburg College Dean’s Honor List for outstanding academic achievement in the 2011 fall semester. Students with a quality point average of 3.60 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) for a semester’s work are placed on the college’s dean’s honor list.

Mahmuda Khan, a fourth-year student from New Hyde Park, has been named to the dean’s list at St. Bonaventure University for the 2011 fall semester. Khan is majoring in biology.

Geena Maniaci of New Hyde Park was named to the dean’s list at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT for the 2011 fall semester. To receive this honor, a student must achieve a 3.6 grade average, based on a 4.0 scale.

Marissa Panetta from New Hyde Park was among the 1,458 students who earned dean’s list honors for the fall 2011 semester at SUNY Oneonta. To qualify for the dean’s list, undergraduate students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 semester hours or more.

Robert Pawlinski, a resident of New Hyde Park, has earned the esteemed honor of placement on the dean’s list at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) for the 2011 fall semester. To achieve this honor, a student must carry 12 or more credits that semester and have a 3.5 grade point average or above.

Devin Robinson, a resident of New Hyde and a sophomore at Fairleigh Dickinson University is spending the spring 2012 semester studying at Wroxton College, FDU’s overseas campus in Oxfordshire, England. At FDU, Robinson is enrolled in the computer graphic design undergraduate program. Robinson is a Devil’s football player and has made dean’s list four times.
