North Hempstead Launches 311 Online Service

The program enables residents to file a request for services online; the town's 311 call center remains available.

North Hempstead residents needing town services can now access the town’s call service on the internet through a new 311Online program.

This expansion allows residents to make service requests online, enhancing access to Town services for residents. The online service is available 24/7, where residents can report such things as a broken curb, pothole, or non-functioning street light; they select the service requesting from a drop-down menu, provide a location and submit their contact information. Residents are also able to provide additional comments or attach a photo.

311 Online works like the “My North Hempstead” mobile app, which was launched earlier this year.

“Both 311 Online and the ‘My North Hempstead’ app allow our residents to enjoy convenient government access around the clock,” said Supervisor Judi Bosworth, in a statement. “Now our residents can get the answers they need in an even more timely and efficient manner.”

Residents will receive a response from the town with a case number to track the progress of the request.
