Long Island Swim School is the teaching arm of the nationally ranked Long Island Aquatic Club. Our Learn to Swim programs create strong, safe, and confident swimmers for life. With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. Long Island Swim School offers swim lessons for children ages 2 - 14years old. The main emphasis of our programs is to teach children to swim correctly and develop essential water skills in a relaxed environment. A Bohemia man was arrested Tuesday for his involvement in a <a href="https://patch.com/new-york/newhydepark/two-men-rob-new-hyde-park-bank">New Hyde Park bank robbery that occurred in July</a>, police said.On July 10, two men entered Valley National Bank, located at 699 Hillside Ave., shortly after 4 p.m. and each passed a demand note to tellers, police said.The tellers complied and handed over an undetermined amount of cash. The men fled on foot westbound on Hillside Avenue, police said.Following an investigation, authorities arrested 43-year-old Joseph Mancuso. He is being charged with second degree robbery and was arraigned Tuesday in First District Court in Hempstead.There were seven employees in the bank at the time of the robbery.
