Spooky Walk Dates, Upgrades Announced

Due to popular demand, the the Town of North Hempstead has added an additional night to its annual Spooky Walk event which begins Thursday.

The standard rate for Spooky Walk is $5 for the event which runs from Oct. 24-26 at the scenic Clark Botanic Garden, located at 193 I.U. Willets Rd. in Albertson. 

Also new this year, a group admission rate will be accepted Oct. 24 for groups of 10 or more at a discounted rate of $3 per person. 

Additionally, telescopes will be made available to children for star-gazing on Oct. 25.

Spooky Walk event times are from 6-9 p.m. nightly.

A Not-So-Spooky Walk, suitable for all ages, will be held on Oct. 27 from noon to 4 p.m. The price of admission is $3 per person. 

According to the town, the event may not be suitable for young children and minors must be accompanied by an adult.
