Please come out and vote for Vincent LaPorta. He is a concerned citizen who feels the Board of Commissioners should be more diverse. One of the reasons Vincent decided to run this year was the fact that he feels we need to have different types of people with varying perspectives to vote on issues which influence our town. The Board currently consists of 5 members of the fire department. Mr. Nagy's son-in-law Michael Bonura is President of the New Hyde Park Fire District Board. If elected, the two family members would represent 2/5 of the Board.
