I use FireFox with a add-on called noscript, to keep control of scripts in my browser. Some times it interferes with a given site functionality as in patch's case. I got a message upwards of 145 scripts want to run! Some on the "allow" list are clearly patch related, patchassets, patch.com, and a few more that allow logins to complete and posts to work. Why do so many need to run from "websites" I do not know how to verify, and probably don't want many of them to run, anyway! Like atwola.com, impermium.com, akamaihd.net, akamai.net, serving-sys.com, advertising.com, adtechus.com,
chartbeat.com, 2mdn.com, adsonar.com, taboosyndication.com, tacoda.net, and the infamous, doublclick.net, 143 scripts to load and make work a "simple" website. And the funniest is when I "temporarily allow" the scripts it reloads and them proceeds to laod more, I allow, reload, more, allow, reload more, for many times. Right now it tells me <SCRIPT>143. What up Patch.com NHP???
