95-1 SHOT BULLSEYE ON TARGET @ YONKERS RACEWAY: PACER IN HUGE UPSET PAYS $192 FOR $2 BET

The tote board exploded today at Yonkers Raceway when Steve Smith drove 95-1 shot Bullseye to victory in the eighth race on the matinee card. The pacer returned $192.50 for a $2 wager, the highest win payoff of the young season.
Unhurried from post position No. 7 in the $10,000 Pace over Empire City Casino’s historic half mile oval, Bullseye was seventh at the three-quarters and fifth into the lane. The 5-year-old turned back Inthenameofjames, driven by Jason Bartlett, to win by a three-quarter length margin. The mile was timed in 1:55. Last Dragon with Brian Sears in the bike, the just-over-even-money favorite, led into the stretch but tired and finished last.
