Sanitary sewers: A pipeline to economic development (bizjournals.com) โ€” New Rochelle's major sewer upgrades are quietly laying the groundwork for more housing, businesses, and tax revenue downtown. By doubling sanitary sewer capacity in the 279โ€‘acre Downtown Overlay Zone, the city can now support millions of square feet of new development while reducing overflows and improving reliability, potentially generating tens of millions annually in property and sales taxes.

Stop & Shop rolls out updated flu and COVID-19 vaccines across Westchester (news12.com) โ€” Updated flu and COVID-19 shots are now available at all Stop & Shop pharmacies, including the New Rochelle location where County Executive Ken Jenkins got vaccinated. New Rochelle residents can get both vaccines at little or no cost with most insurance. Health officials urge getting shots early to reduce serious illness risks through fall and winter.
