Annual Water Quality Report is Available Online
The EPA now allows the water company to mail the report annually.
United Water announced Friday in a press release that the company’s annual water quality report detailing the quality of customers' drinking water in 2012 is available online.
United Water New Rochelle, a subsidiary of United Water, provides water to more than 146,000 people in New Rochelle, as well as Eastchester and parts of Greenburgh. Nearby, the company also serves North Pelham, Pelham Manor and the village of Pelham through a master meter, according to the company's Web site.
Previously the annual water quality report was required by the EPA to be delivered by mail. However, earlier this year, that agency announced that the report can be delivered electronically to customers via a direct web address.
