Approaching Snow Prompts Winter Weather Advisories
Commutes could be affected with slippery conditions.

The second winter weather event for the week is forecast to begin affecting the Hudson Valley Wednesday. Because of that, the National Weather Service has issued winter weather advisories for the region.
The first advisory — for Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties — is in effect from noon Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday.
Mixed precipitation is expected with total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze.
