Baseball Great Mariano Rivera Hosts School-Supply Give-Away in New Rochelle
The event was in collaboration with HOPE Community Services.
NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Back-to-school time means school supplies are needed soon, and in New Rochelle Saturday former New York Yankee Mariano Rivera helped give away more than 800 bags of school supplies.
Mariano and his wife, Paster Clara Rivera of Iglesia Refugio de Esperanza, hosted the give-away event with HOPE Community Services, the Journal News said.
