Burglar Arrested in New Rochelle
Police had been investigating several burglaries in apartments in the southern section of the city.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A Bronx man is being held without bail after being arrested for picking locks and burglarizing homes in New Rochelle.
Police had been investigating several burglaries in the southern part of New Rochelle and Ferdinand Vargas, 57, was arrested Dec. 10. lohud.com said.
When taken into custody, police said he had lock picks on him.
