Finally. An answer to the question that has plagued scientists, theologians, and comedians for millennia: Will Judaism survive in space?
Come enjoy a screening of the documentary Fiddler on the Moon: Judaism in Space—with&nbsp;astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, astronauts Jeffrey Hoffman and Jessica Meir, and a quorum of rabbis and researchers—which explores how Jewish traditions could be practiced in space. Guest speakers from <a href="https://westchesterastronomers.org" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Westchester Amateur Astronomers</a> (WAA) will hold a discussion after the screening.
A light lunch will be served.

WAA
 is a not-for-profit organization open to people of all ages with the 
desire to learn more about astronomy and who share an interest in 
viewing the universe. We range from enthusiastic amateurs and educators 
to casual stargazers and families.
WAA was founded by three 
friends who wanted to help the general public see Halley’s Comet during 
its 1986 fly-by. They went on to found Westchester Amateur Astronomers 
in 1991. Activities include monthly presentations by respected names in 
astronomy and related sciences and observing nights beneath 
Westchester’s darkest skies.

This workshop explores cyanotype printing beyond paper, focusing on textiles. Participants will experiment with fabric, such as tea towels, fabric patches or tote bags, learning how material, texture, and absorbency affect the cyanotype process.
Designed for beginners and those with prior experience with cyanotype printing, this session emphasizes hands-on experimentation and creative discovery while expanding the possibilities of cyanotype into fabric-based work.

Both of these composers approached the string quartet form with reverence and some intimidation, with the examples of Haydn and Beethoven looming over them.
