Juneteenth celebration

A commemoration of the Juneteenth holiday, celebrating the end of slavery in America at the conclusion of the Civil War, with performances, tours and re-enactments.  A feature will be a 1 PM performance of spirituals by acclaimed bass baritone singer Ronald Campbell, accompanied by Dante Harrell on keyboard.   There will also be a  

walking tour of the historic cemetery, led by St. Paul's living historian Michae Grillo, placing wreaths at the graves of two Black veterans of Civil War regiments that were stationed in Texas in June of 1865.
