This series, offered by DOROT at the JCCMW, is designed for individuals to build community as they learn, discuss, and reflect on the logistical and social challenges of aging with independence.
You need not live alone or without family to participate in and benefit from this program. All adults ages 60+ are encouraged to join. The program is offered at no cost, thanks to the generosity of the Westchester Men’s Giving Circle, UJA Federation of New York.
Over the course of six weeks, DOROT’s trained facilitator and discussion group leaders will guide you through topics related to your solo aging journey, including building community, housing considerations, financial and legal matters, and more.
If you’re an older adult, living or feeling alone, aging without family support, or seeking meaningful connections, we welcome you!
DOROT Westchester is proud to offer this program in collaboration with the JCCMW.
Registration is required.
