Celebrate National Library Week at NRPL's "Meet the Authors" Exhibit

In celebration of National Library Week, the New Rochelle Public Library will host a “Meet the Authors” Exhibition on Saturday, April 29, 1:30 - 4:00 pm.

Nearly twenty authors, all from New Rochelle, will be on hand to share their work. In line with this year’s theme “There’s More to the Story”, attendees will hear firsthand from the authors about their writing process, inspirations, and the stories behind their latest works. The event will be exhibition-style, where attendees can walk around and meet the authors in an informal setting. Authors of both children's and adult books will be in attendance.

"National Book Week is a time to celebrate the joy of reading and to appreciate the hard work and dedication that goes into writing a book. This exciting event is an opportunity for book lovers to come together for an afternoon of literary conversation”, said Tom Geoffino, Director, New Rochelle Public Library. “We're grateful to the diverse and impressive group of authors who will join us. I know it will be an inspiring day”, said Geoffino.

The event takes place at the Main branch of the New Rochelle Public Library, 1 Library Plaza, New Rochelle, and is free and open to the public. Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase books and have them signed by the authors, or bring their own copies of books for signing.
