UPDATE: Detectives Investigating Child's Fall from Second-Story Window in New Rochelle

The injured 3-year-old was taken to Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital.

Updated at 11:20 a.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2015: New Rochelle police detectives are investigating the Wednesday morning fall a three-year-old boy took from a second-story window, according to police.

Sgt. Matt Brady told Patch that the child was found on the ground bleeding in front of the May Street home Wednesday by a bystander who called authorities at about 9:45 a.m.

The child’s father was home at the time but told police he had not seen the fall, according to Brady. The father accompanied the boy to Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital. The child’s condition was not immediately known.
