Coastal Flood Advisory Issued for Thursday for Sound Shore
Flooding could occur around the times of high tide.
The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory for southern Westchester County in effect from 9 p.m. Thursday to midnight Friday.
The NWS said there could be tidal departures around 1 foot above astronomical tides.
Widespread minor coastal flooding could occur around the times of high tide between 9 p.m. and midnight tonight.

Additional minor flooding is possible around the times of high tide Friday night.
The most vulnerable shore roads and/or properties might be impacted by minor flooding due to the height of storm tide or wave splash over.

The NWS said that the majority of roads will remain passable with only isolated closures and that there is no significant threat to life.
