A Coastal Flood Statement has been issued for southern Westchester County.
The National Weather Service said that between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12 there could be brief flooding “of the most vulnerable shore roads and properties” due to the height of the storm tide or wave splash over.
The prime locations are low lying areas bordering Long Island Sound.
