Early Voting Set In Westchester For The 2024 Presidential Primary

The deadline for registered Democrats and Republicans to request mail-in ballots ahead of Election Day is also approaching.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — The presidential primary will be held on Tuesday, April 2, in New York, but you don't need to wait until Election Day to cast your vote.

Early voting for the presidential primary will take place from Saturday, March 23, through Saturday, March 30.

Registered voters will be able to cast their ballot at ANY of the 24 designated early voting locations listed below.

April 2, 2024 Presidential Primary Election Early Voting Hours

  • Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m
  • Sunday, March 24, 2024 from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
  • Monday, March 25, 2024 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
  • Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m.
  • Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
  • Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m.
  • Friday, March 29, 2024 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Through the Westchester County Board of Elections (BOE), you can find your polling place, register to vote and learn about how to request an election ballot.

There are a few key upcoming deadlines to keep in mind.

  • March 23, is the last day that a voter registration application must be received by the Westchester Board of Election by mail or in person.
  • April 1, is the last day that an application for a mail in ballot must be received by BOE.
  • April 2, is the last day to postmark ballot (the postmarked ballot envelope must be received by the BOE no later than April 9.)
  • April 2, is the last day to deliver ballot in person to CBOE

The BOE office will be open for extended hours to vote by absentee ballot for the April 2, Presidential Primary on:

  • Thursday, March 21, until 8 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 23, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Tuesday, March 26, until 8 p.m.
  • Thursday, March 28, until 8 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 30, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
