Ursulines in America

The College of New Rochelle Office of Mission and Identity will present "How Ursulines Overcame Nativism, Feminized Higher Education and Helped Catholics Become Americans," a lecture by Scott Appleby, Professor of History and the John M. Regan Jr. Director of Kroc Institute for International Studies at the University of Notre Dame.

A historian who studies modern religions and their capacity for both violence and peacebuilding, Appleby is the author or editor of several books.
