FedEx Driver Robbed Of Packages At Gunpoint: Police

New Rochelle police are searching for three men.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — New Rochelle police are investigating a theft of packages from a FedEx driver. Police were called at 5:47 p.m. Thursday from a driver for the delivery company.

He was at the Golden Horseshoe Shopping Center, and he reported that he had just been robbed. He told police that he had made a delivery at a north end residence and while returning to his FedEx truck he was approached by three men, one of whom had a small handgun.

They forced him into his truck and stole about eight undelivered packages, he told police. They fled in a vehicle.

The investigation is active, Captain Cosmo Costa said.
