George Washington University Professor to Speak at New Rochelle's Iona Prep

Professor Zamoff will bring a historical perspective to current events that have rocked the National Football League in recent weeks.

The Iona Prep African-American Society will host a lecture by sociology professor Dr. Richard B. Zamoff of George Washington University today.

Sixty-seven years and four days after “Jackie Robinson Day” was celebrated at the historic Ebbets Field, Dr. Zamoff will share with Prep students portions of his course entitled “Jackie Robinson: Race, Sport and the American Dream.”
