Patch asked readers to send us the best holiday lights in our neck of the woods. The results continue to be illuminating.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — It's the most wonderful time of the year, and there are few better ways to celebrate than by driving around the neighborhood and seeing the festively decorated homes.
Patch and T-Mobile are partnering to help compile a list of lights around the Hudson Valley that deserve a drive-by.
So if you want to see the best lights in our villages, towns and hamlets, check out the list below.

The best and the brightest in the Hudson Valley:
Check out these amazing lights on a building on Terrace Avenue in Mt Vernon. 


The superintendent, Ralph, and his family, go all out decorating the building to the delight of passersby and residents alike.
The Christmas spirit is alive and well on Deans Bridge Road in Somers.

This historic home (Tide Mill dates back to colonial times) on Kirby Lane in Rye deserves a look year-round, but every evening during the holiday season, it's extra special.

This Hill Street home in New Rochelle's Sycamore Park neighborhood has a traditional static light display daily from 5 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
The North Pole Airport is an exuberant extravaganza on Oriole Road in New City. The family uses their display every year to help two organizations — Angel Flight and People to People of Rockland. Follow the link below for directions to the world-famous display.

Here's a special house the kids in the neighborhood look forward to all year long. It's at Glen Eagles/Vine in Larchmont in the Rouken Glen area. The dazzling display can be seen from around 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Carlo Riccobono writes that he has been doing family Christmas decorations for the past 55 years, a tradition that his late grandfather started and he has carried it on. And now his son Anthony has taken on the role each year helping out. The lights on Macri Avenue in West Harrison are on from 4:30 p.m. until 11 p.m. each night.

Neighbor Tracey Schmaling writes, "Come see our large holiday light and figure display on Halstead ave near Deciccos in Mamaroneck you won’t be disappointed." (and they weren't lying)

Westchester’s Winter Wonderland Drive-Thru Holiday Light Extravaganza has returned to Kensico Dam Plaza with thousands more lights, a second light tunnel and a new live character — Snowball the Elf.
A recommendation for 22 Apple Hill Drive in Cortlandt Manor was received, calling it "the greatest holiday display ever," with music synced to the lights broadcast over FM radio.

The company behind NYC's grandest holiday displays is again hosting "Holiday Lane at American Christmas" in their Westchester workshop.
And finally, here’s a recommendation from the town of Southeast: Go see Morningthorpe Manor, the castle at 100 Turk Hill Rd. It was built by Seth B. Howes (1815-1901) who was a famous circus businessman. It is now the home of the Delancey Street Foundation, a residential self-help organization, which restored the rundown property in 1980 and outlines the house in lights at Christmas.
