Holiday Customer Appreciation Day Set At 22 Post Offices
Postal managers will be in the Post Office lobbies from 11 a.m.to 2 p.m. talking to customers and soliciting community feedback.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — To help usher in the holiday and to help people plan their holiday card and package sending, local postmasters in the Hudson Valley are spreading good cheer by hosting a Holiday Customer Appreciation Day. It will be held Saturday, Dec. 2 at 22 select Post Offices.
Postal managers will be in the Post Office lobbies from 11 a.m.to 2 p.m. talking to customers, sharing holiday mailing and shipping tips, distributing free Priority Mail shipping supplies, and soliciting community feedback to help identify areas of opportunity to improve service.

Can’t make it to the Holiday Customer Appreciation Day in the Hudson Valley? The Postal Service offers mailing and shipping tips in 10 video “how to” guides posted on YouTube. Each video is less than three minutes long with tips on addressing packages, shipping packages and packing a box so items arrive safely. Free Priority Mail shipping supplies can be ordered online at the Postal Service’s USPS.com website.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations, according to a spokesperson.
