A Holiday Show As Big As The Universe Is 46 Years In The Making
The wait is finally over for stargazers & yule enthusiasts because the annual New Rochelle HS planetarium Season of Light Show is nigh.
NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A New Rochelle tradition that dates back more than four decades will once again delight all ages with an out-of-this-world holiday light show.
The free Season of Light show at the New Rochelle High School planetarium is back. The New Rochelle rite of passage that began as the "The Star of Bethlehem," holiday show following the planetarium's opening in 1970 continues the tradition started by former long-time director Martin Steinbaum this month with the Season of Light spectacular.
This year, there are four must-see presentations of the holiday show:

- Dec. 17, at 7 p.m.
- Dec. 18, at 4 p.m.
- Dec 20, at 7 p.m.
- Dec. 22 at 7 p.m.
No reservations are required. Attendees are asked to arrive at the outside doors to the planetarium at New Rochelle High School no later than 15 minutes before showtimes. Once the show begins, no one will be admitted to the planetarium.
