The mayor said that with support from Councilmember John Rubbo, the city is able to utilize this fund to provide temporary housing at area hotels.

"Thank you to our Office of Constituent Services for securing 40 rooms for displaced residents," Spano said in the statement released on Wednesday. "Thank you to our Yonkers Office of Emergency Management and American Red Cross in Greater New York for assisting.
