Hudson Valley Chamber Musicians to Perform Live at Library
Classical music quintet to perform varied repertoire on Sunday, April 16 at 2:00 pm
The Hudson Valley Chamber Musicians, a classical, professional woodwind quintet, will perform live at the New Rochelle Public Library, 1 Library Plaza, on Sunday, April 16, 2:00 pm.
The concert will include music from the Baroque period to contemporary music with a wide range and varied repertoire, including music by female composers and composers of color, including Florence Price, William Grant Still, and Hedwige Chrétien. In addition, they will perform works by more traditional composers Adrien Barthe and Ludwig van Beethoven.
The quintet performers include Norman Dee on flute, Guy Johansen on oboe (guest artist), Leigh Myers on clarinet, Sergio Gomez on French horn (guest artist) and Donald Venezia on bassoon.
