NEW ROCHELLE, NY — As part of the ongoing revitalization of the North Avenue corridor, Iona College announced plans for a community restaurant and market on North Avenue.

The proposed restaurant and market — called SAGE Cafe — will serve the needs of both Iona students and the community at large and will be located in taxable commercial space on the ground floor of the newly built seven-story mixed-use building on the site of the former Mirage Diner.

The cafe is part of a commitment the college made when the diner was purchased in 2014.
