Iona College to Honor Timothy Cardinal Dolan and Mr. James P. Hynes at Annual Scholarship Gala

His Eminence, Timothy Cardinal Dolan ’14H and James P. Hynes ’69, ’01H will each be honored at the 2015 Iona College Scholarship Award Gala & Diamond Jubilee Celebration, scheduled for April 10.

Organizers said this year’s gala is unique “as Iona College will be recognizing its 75th anniversary while honoring these two deserving individuals who exemplify the College’s mission of service, scholarship and value-based learning.”

The event will be held in The Grand Ballroom of The Waldorf Astoria, 301 Park Ave., NYC. A cocktail reception is at 7 p.m. followed by the program at 8 p.m. Alfred F. Kelly will serve as the gala’s Emcee.
