Katie Couric Makes The Cut At Hair House Salon Opening Blow Out
Couric, one of Hair House's celebrity clients, made the festivities in New Rochelle and playfully posed with giant ribbon-cutting scissors.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — There may be a few more celebrity sightings in New Rochelle than normal now that the famed Hair House Salon has opened its doors. The good news, for those of us who aren't rich and famous, is that it doesn't take a fat pocketbook (or a giant pair of scissors) to feel like a star at the city's newest business.
On Tuesday, New Rochelle's newest hair salon, Hair House, celebrated its grand opening and ribbon-cutting at its new flagship location at 360 Huguenot.
The New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce, the City of New Rochelle, New Rochelle Downton BID and RXR were there to join in the celebration. The ribbon-cutting was held in the salon and was followed by an open-air reception on the rooftop of 360 Huguenot.

"Dana is such a talented hairdresser," Couric said. "She knows how to work with so many different types of hair and almost has a sixth sense when it comes to figuring out what's right for a client. She's one smart cookie and I'm extremely proud of her."

“Thanks to the continued support of family, clients and friends, and the tremendously talented staff at Hair House, we were able to create and expand our business in just 5 short years," Fiore said. "We are so excited to be located in downtown New Rochelle at 360 Huguenot and to be a part of the newfound energy and vibrancy of the city. Our team is ready to bring our NYC experience north to Westchester County. I am especially grateful to my husband and daughter for their patience and support as I turned my passion into a business of which I am so unbelievably proud.”
