Magic, Mystery and Mediterranean Flavors Coming to Hudson Park Children's Greenhouse

The Hudson Park Children's Greenhouse continues its summer programming with an intimate magic performance and a creative culinary workshop.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The Hudson Park Children's Greenhouse is inviting the community to enjoy two unique summer evenings that blend creativity, entertainment, and unforgettable experiences inside the beautiful greenhouse at Hudson Park.

Experience "Magic at the Mansion" – July 23

On Thursday, July 23, acclaimed magicians David Calamari and Tom Gibney will present "Magic at the Mansion," with performances at 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

Guests won't be watching magic from a distant stage—they'll experience astonishing sleight-of-hand just inches from their eyes. Through intimate performances, audience interaction, storytelling, and world-class illusions, the evening promises to leave audiences amazed.

Tom Gibney is known for combining jaw-dropping sleight of hand with intelligent mystery and refined theatrical presentation. His close-up performances feature routines and stories rarely seen by the public, including pieces passed down through generations of magicians.

Many in New Rochelle already know David Calamari as the creative force behind the wildly popular Haunt at Wildcliff each October. A multidisciplinary artist, writer, performer, scenic designer, and magician, David has spent years creating immersive theatrical experiences on Broadway, television, haunted attractions, and escape rooms. His passion for magic began at the age of three after witnessing his first magic trick, inspiring a lifelong pursuit of creating wonder for others.

Tickets are approximately $50 and may be purchased through the Hudson Park Children's Greenhouse website at www.hpcgreenhouse.org.

Mindful Makers: Olive Oil Bottle Painting & Tasting – August 6

Creativity meets culinary discovery on Thursday, August 6, at 7:00 p.m., when the Greenhouse hosts a special Mindful Makers: Olive Oil Bottle Painting & Tasting Experience.

The evening begins with an expert-guided tasting of authentic, single-origin Greek extra virgin olive oil led by Tamara of Agape Premium. Participants will learn how to taste premium olive oils while exploring the flavors, aromas, and traditions behind one of the Mediterranean's most celebrated foods.

Guests will then enjoy an artist-led workshop with Mona Balgobin, creating and taking home their own beautifully hand-painted olive oil bottle. A curated selection of premium olive oils and specialty products will also be available for purchase.

Tickets are $45 for the general public and $40 for Hudson Park Children's Greenhouse members.
