March Roars In With Laughter at Empire City Casino on Wednesday Comedy Nights
Matteo Lane Headlines on March 15, Sean Patton Takes Center Stage March 29
An Italian oil painter and Opera singer turned comic, and a funnyman who has appeared on National television with Jimmy Fallon, Conan O’Brien and Amy Schumer will have the Good Time Room roaring with laughs when Matteo Lane (March 15) and Sean Patton (March 29) headline the March Wednesday Comedy Nights at Empire City Casino.
Doors will open at 7:00 pm and the show will begin at 8:00 pm. Admission is $5 for Empire Club Members and $25 for non-members. Elite Club and President’s Club members gain free admission. All patrons will receive a free drink ticket.
Lane (March 15), based in New York and originally from Chicago, was living in Italy when he came to the realization that he wasn’t the next Pavarotti or Michelangelo. So, he ditched the Bel Canto-technique and brushes for stand-up. Lane speaks five languages, but is most fluent in comedy. His list of comedy credits include: performances at the TBS Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal and the New York Comedy Festival; cast member on MTV’s Girl Code and MTV2’s Guy Code; SiriusXM Radio and “Keith and the Girl”; co-hosts a monthly variety show at the Creek and the Cave.
Joining Lane at the microphone on March 15th will be featured performer Luz Pazos and MC Peyton Clarkson.
Patton (March 29), originally from New Orleans, is a bi-coastal performer, standing up in both New York City and Los Angeles. Along with his television credits, Patton has tickled the funny bone at Just for Laughs festivals in both Chicago, Toronto and Montreal, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and on Comedy Central’s Live from Gotham.
The featured performer on March 29th will be Ian Fidance and the MC is Jourdain Fisher.
