Mayor Bramson Joins Stop & Shop Pharmacists in Call to Get Flu Shots

New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson, received his flu shot from Stop & Shop Pharmacists at the New Rochelle Stop & Shop and called on residents of his city to get their flu shots as early as possible this fall. The flu vaccine helps reduce serious respiratory illness and can help protect a person throughout the entire year. Stop & Shop pharmacies have been providing more immunizations year over year to protect its community, and according to the CDC, the flu vaccine has been shown to reduce the risk of having to go to the doctor with flu by 40% to 60%.

Stop & Shop offers several types of flu vaccines, and its team of licensed pharmacists can help each patient select the type that is best for them. Stop & Shop pharmacists will help customers by addressing concerns about allergies, preservatives, or potential side effects.
