Minor Coastal Flooding Could Occur Wednesday

The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Statement for southern Westchester County.

There could be minor coastal flooding around high tide Wednesday evening between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m.

Tidal departures of around a half foot to 1 foot above astronomcial tides could be expected.

Tide levels may approach or just exceed the minor coastal flooding threshold around the time of high tide.

Any impact on property will be minimal and there is no significant threat to life.
