Minor Coastal Flooding Could Occur Wednesday

Any possible flooding would happen around high tide, the National Weather Service said.

The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Statement for southern Westchester County.

There could be minor coastal flooding around high tide Wednesday evening between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m.

Tidal departures of around a half foot to 1 foot above astronomcial tides could be expected.

Any impact on property will be minimal and there is no significant threat to life.
