New Beginnings Performing Arts Studio 1st Ever Scholarship Fundraiser
The fun will take place on stage and off, but the end goal will be creating educational opportunities for students in need in New Rochelle.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — One of New Rochelle's most dynamic and effective youth organizations is throwing a party like only they can. In addition to a special evening of fun and culture, the night could make all the difference in the lives of students in the Queen City on the Sound.
The New Beginnings Performing Arts Studio will be hosting their first-ever scholarship fundraiser. The evening will be filled with live performance, food, drinks, raffles and opportunities to connect with new people in the new Rochelle arts scene.

The studio is the dream child of Kyra Johnson (Ms. Jay), founder and creative director. As a lifelong dancer and professional educator, Ms. Jay aims to bridge the gap between the traditional education system and the profound community need for structured and supportive performing arts education. Open to all ages and all levels, New Beginnings was conceived to create a supportive, yet disciplined environment in which all students can flourish in body and mind.
Their non-profit sector, InvisionU, provides dance, health, wellness and cultural development programs in New Rochelle. Organizers say the hope for this fundraiser is to raise $10,000, all of which will go to creating educational opportunities for underprivileged students in New Rochelle.
