New Finance Commissioner Appointed for New Rochelle

Longtime Commissioner Howard Rattner retired in June.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A new finance commissioner will take over in New Rochelle September 12.

Tracy Yogman, who is a certified public accountant, will become commissioner, succeeding Howard Rattner, who retired in June.

City Manager Charles B. Strome III made the selection and said she will be an asset to the city’s Department of Finance.

“Her public sector experience is well-suited to New Rochelle,” he said.

Yogman received her undergraduate degree from Queens College and served as comptroller for the Town of Huntington and, most recently, the vice president of finance and chief financial officer of the Queens Borough Public Library.
