New Rochelle Artist to Have Solo Show

Aston Lemelle-Thomas will show his work at the Backstreet Gallery.

A New Rochelle artist—who creates music as well as art—will have his first solo show at the Backstreet Gallery.

Aston Lemelle-Thomas, a graduate of the School of Visual Arts who attended New Rochelle High School's PAVE arts program, will be showing his artwork beginning Thursday, May 16.

Gallery owner Ivar Hyden said Lemelle-Thomas could become a modern day Aubrey Beardsley, the English illustrator.
