New Rochelle Cheerleaders Come in Third in National Championship
Ursuline and Eastchester teams were also at the competition.
New Rochelle cheerleaders came in third in the United Cheer Association’s high school national championships.
Lohud.com said the New Rochelle team performed in the competition’s Small Varsity, Division I group.
The championships were held at Disney World in Orlando, FL, Feb. 6 and 7.

Also competing were Ursuline High School in New Rochelle and Eastchester High School. Those teams were both semifinalists in the “A” bracket of the Small Varsity Division I.
