New Rochelle District Voters To Decide Fate Of $260M Budget For 2017-18

There is also a contested race for two board seats.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Voters in the New Rochelle school district will go to the polls Tuesday to decide whether to approve a budget for the 2017-18 school year. The budget package is $259,622,488, up 2.34 percent from the current year’s spending plan.

Voters will also be choosing board members. Four candidates are running for two open seats: Vincent Malfetano, Amy Moselhi, Moraydda Rosado and Paul Warhit.

The polls on Tuesday will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
