New Rochelle Mobster Sentenced To Prison

Steven Crea Jr. pleaded guilty to racketeering and murder conspiracy in August.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A New Rochelle man, who authorities said was a Luchese crime family captain, was sentenced to prison last week. Steven Crea Jr. was sentenced in federal court in White Plains to 13 years in prison for crimes related to his work with La Cosa Nostra.

Crea was one of 19 members of the Luchese crime family charged in 2017 with mob-related crimes, the Journal News said.

In August, Crea pleaded guilty to racketeering and murder conspiracy charges. He admitted conspiring with his father, underboss Steven Crea, to kill Carl Ulzheimer, a Bonanno family associate.
