New Rochelle Police Hold Promotion Ceremony

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Five members of the New Rochelle Police Department were honored at the Promotional Ceremony Wednesday. City officials joined the officers for the ceremony in the City Council Chambers.

“We are pleased to be able to promote such a competent and accomplished group of officers to higher ranks and positions within our Department,” said New Rochelle Police Commissioner Joseph Schaller.

“We are confident that they will be successful, and become even greater assets to the Department in their new roles. Congratulations to them, their families and their friends,” he said.

New Rochelle Police Department Promotions

• Lieutenant Kevin Perri, detective sergeant promoted to the rank of Lieutenant
• Sergeant Dwayne Jones, detective promoted to the rank of Sergeant
• Sergeant Emmanuel Gonzalez, police officer promoted to the rank of Sergeant
• Detective Melissa Diniz and Detective Matthew Glass, police officers promoted to the rank of Detective
