New Rochelle Public Library Introduces New Family Concert Series
"Saturday Sings" Concert Series kicks off on Saturday, July 15 with Music Pepper Pot with Conroy Warren
The New Rochelle Public Library has announced a new summer concert series called "Saturday Sings" for children and families. The series will kick off on Saturday, July 15 at 11:00 am in the Children's Garden at the New Rochelle Public Library. The concerts are aimed at children ages 2 and up and will feature three well-known family entertainers on select Saturdays.
"We are delighted to bring these engaging concerts to the community this summer,” said Robert Simic, Head of Children’s Services, New Rochelle Public Library. “Parents asked for more weekend programming and we thought family-friendly, outdoor concerts were a perfect complement to the wide range of children’s programs we offer during the week. We look forward to welcoming families, and hope they will enjoy all the Library has to offer before and after the concerts,” said Simic.
The first concert in the series will take place on Saturday, July 15 at 11:00 am and will feature Music Pepper Pot with Conroy Warren. This interactive program promises an hour of non-stop fun and movement with a wide range of music styles, including contemporary and cultural reggae, calypso, meringue, rock and roll, and rhythm and blues.
