New Rochelle Residents Help White Plains Hospital 'Drive for a Cure'

Una Hopkins, D.N.P., and Sara Sadan, M.D., of New Rochelle help the hospital raise more than $125,000 to fight cancer

White Plains Hospital’s second annual Drive for a Cure was held on Tuesday, September 29th at the Trump National Golf Club in Briarcliff Manor, NY. Over 200 people enjoyed a day of golf and tennis, followed by cocktails and a dinner reception, silent auction and awards presentation. The outing raised over $125,000 for the Cancer Program at White Plains Hospital.

White Plains Hospital is one of a select group of only 23 U.S. health care facilities with accredited cancer programs to receive this national honor. Other current and prior recognitions include: accreditation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC); Breast Imaging Center of Excellence and Lung Cancer Screening Center Designation from the American College of Radiology (ACR); Women’s Choice Awards as one of America’s Best Breast Centers and one of America’s Best Hospitals for Cancer Care; and CEO Cancer Gold Standard Accreditation.
