Voters will have a chance to hear from candidates for the New Rochelle School District's Board of Education Thursday, May 16, 2013.
Invited to attend are candidates Robert Cox and Pamela Davis. The forum is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of New Rochelle.
Cox and Davis are running to fill the seat vacated by Mary Jane Reddington, who served on the board for 30 years. The term is for five years. The election will held on May 21.
The forum will take place from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Isaac E. Young Middle School, 270 Centre Ave. at Pelham Road. It will be videotaped and shown until the election on Cablevision Channel 77 and Verizon FIOS Channel 30.
The League said people should come prepared with questions to ask the candidates. The forum will be moderated by a League member from out of the area.
