New Rochelle School Calendar 2019-20: First Day Of School

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The first day of school is Sept. 4 in New Rochelle — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you'll want to mark the dates on your calendar ASAP.

The New Rochelle school district has released its 2019-20 calendar.

The calendars include important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for the 2019-20 school year:

October

• 11/5: Election Day (No Students)

• 11/27-29: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

• 12/23-31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1-3: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/20: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/3 Half Day All Schools (Professional Development)
• 2/17-21: No School (Mid-winter Recess)

March

• 3/23: Half Day All Schools (Professional Development)

April

• 4/6-10: No School (Spring Recess)
