New Rochelle String Orchestra to Perform at Ossie Davis Theater

Before the students in the New Rochelle String Orchestra take off to Montreal this spring, they will be giving a preview performance Monday, Feb. 29.

The concert will be held at the New Rochelle Public Library’s Ossie Davis Theater from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Organizers said the orchestra will perform selections by Mozart, Haydn and Jenkins, and the performance will include several short solos.

While admission to the concert is free, donations will be accepted.

The library is located at 1 Library Plaza at Lawton and Huguenot streets in New Rochelle.
