New Rochelle's Free CircuitNR Electric Shuttle Branches Out

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — New Rochelle now has your ride to the beach covered this season.
The City of New Rochelle announced that its complimentary, on-demand CircuitNR electric shuttle service has expanded its service area this year in response to rider feedback.
In addition to the routes around downtown, the shuttle will now serve areas to the south and east, including the New Rochelle YMCA on Weyman Avenue and the Montefiore Cedar Street location.

CircuitNR will also be offering rides to and from Hudson Park this summer, providing a convenient mode of transportation to the city park, its beaches and the Wednesday summer concert series.
CircuitNR is easy for the community to use. Riders can use the "Ride Circuit" app, which can be downloaded here, to request an on-demand pickup anywhere in the shuttle coverage area. Rides can also be hailed by simply waving down the nearest CircuitNR driver if the vehicle has empty seats.

The NYS Department of Transportation awarded the CircuitNR the Clean Air NY Champions Award for its efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and create a more sustainable, livable city.
