New Rochelle's Iona College Plans 'Make a Difference Week' Beginning Oct. 4

Make a Difference Week begins on Oct. 4 and runs through Oct. 11.

Iona College will host a series of events in celebration of Make a Difference Week, an annual Iona tradition which offers a full week of service and advocacy opportunities on campus and in our local communities, the school announced.

Make a Difference Week begins on Oct. 4 and runs through Oct. 11. Among the volunteer activities planned are neighborhood cleanups, food collection, elderly outreach and a blood drive.

The events are designed to engage the Iona community in service opportunities and expose the community to “some of the pressing issues facing our nation and world through learning and advocacy,” the school said in a statement.
