Miss the nostalgic days of drive-in movie theaters and nights spent lounging on the grass?
Miss the nostalgic days of drive-in movie theaters and nights spent lounging on the grass? Look no further: The New Rochelle High School Chorale will be screening Disney Pixar's Oscar-winning hit, Inside Out. Due to inclement weather, the date has been changed from Friday, May 13th, to Wednesday, May 25th, 2016. We will update this page as soon as we have a confirmation for the 25th. The event will be set up on New Rochelle High School's front football field, next to its two lakes. Twinkling lights sprinkled on the field accompanied by a premium surround-sound system will make for an outdoor evening of fun. Popcorn, snacks and drinks available at concessions on the grounds. Bring a blanket, lay out on the grass and cuddle up with your kids as you enjoy watching the classic way!
Time: Polaroid camera station, raffle, dinner, and distribution of popcorn start at 7:00pm; the movie starts at 8pm. For parking concerns, please plan to arrive by 7:30. All funds will go to the NRHS Chorale's European concert tour, in which students will travel to Ireland, Austria, and Germany for two weeks in the beginning of July.
Listen to the Chorale's performance at Carnegie hall at www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkKrygpPDLU .
Price: $10 adults (12 and older) and $7 for kids and students of the New Rochelle School District. Children 3 years and younger are free of charge. Tickets will be sold at the door or from students in Chorale. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact Derrick James at (914)-576-5634.
